Conservation Stories
Beyond the adventure and the aesthetics, every image I take serves a deeper purpose: to inspire conservation. My work as a marine biologist has given me a front-row seat to the beauty and the fragility of our oceans. In this space, I share the stories that matter most—tales of delicate ecosystems, the challenges facing marine life, and the work of the dedicated people fighting to protect them.


Tropical Kelp Forests: Why kelp in Mozambique is a lot like finding a penguin in the Maldives.
This kelp forest is made of a species thought to be Ecklonia radiata, an abundant intertidal species of kelp found around the East coast of South Africa.
