I’m Dani, marine biologist and underwater photographer. No crowds, no cages, no noise: I keep my groups tiny and my expeditions slow, so the ocean can do what it does best, every trip guided in the water, read like a biologist, and photographed like a story you’ll keep forever.

Wild Mermaid grew out of a simple belief: the best ocean moments are small and shared. I lead every expedition personally, in the water with you, reading the animals, and capturing the encounters so you can simply be there.
From the kelp forests of my home in Cape Town to the sardine run on the Wild Coast, I go where the sea is most alive, with people who want to meet it gently.
